Recharge: (of a person) to return to a normal state of mind or strength after a period of physical or mental exertion.
I've been in a season of recharging. I'm not working full-time right now because wedding season hasn't officially started, and I've learned to be okay with it. After the craziness of last season, I've learned to appreciate the time I have off. I've also been learning to stop and learn to appreciate what life has given me and what's around me.
Back in September (or maybe it was October), I started going to this quarterly meet up called the Queen City Instameet. Through that, I've met some of the most down to earth, God-loving, artistically free people.
Well some time within the last month or so, I started following this photographer in South Carolina, and he posted about this event called the Greenville Instameet. After all of the fun I've had at the two Queen City Instameets that I've been to, I decided to get a couple of friends together to make the two hour trip to Greenville.
Here's what I saw...
Here's the story to the image above.
A high school student at Riverside High School in Greer, SC, wanted to do something special for this girlfriend as a way to ask her for prom. He set up a scavenger hunt for with the final clue leading her to the park we were all at. He and his friends set up candles in the shape of the word PROM? and had one of his friends play "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz as she walked up to the park.
She said yes.
